Tahir Gozal elected supervisory board chair at Azerbaijan Industry Bank

Tahir Gozal has been appointed chairman of the supervisory board at Azerbaijan Industry Bank (ASB), succeeding his brother Ahmad Gozal, who held the post since 2022. Alireza Firouzi Heydaranlou and Sirin Hakan Ali retain their positions as board members.

Gozal, who serves concurrently as chairman of Azersun Holding's supervisory board and president of Qarabag Football Club, assumes operational oversight of the financial institution.

With a charter capital of 60 million manats ($35.3 million), Azerbaijan Industry Bank is majority-owned by Anadolu Investment Company LLC, which holds a 98.43% equity interest.
