Mustafa Sentop: ‘What happened in Azerbaijan showed that the UN was unable to fulfill its mission’

What happened in Azerbaijan showed that the UN was unable to fulfill its mission, said Mustafa Sentop, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, who is on a visit to Turkmenistan, reported from Anadolu.
According to him, actors and institutions of the international system cannot adapt to today's realities: "What happened in Georgia and Ukraine is an example of this. What happened shows the need for a new international system and structure in the UN."
Sentop said that regional cooperation and international solidarity become more important issues in this case.
