Another scandal between Armenia and Russia: Yerevan calls emergency meeting of EU

Armenia has called an extraordinary meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) because its cargo was not accepted from the Upper Lars Checkpoint on the Russian side, Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, said reported from TASS.
"We have taken the materials published by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor). We are investigating them,” he said.
According to him, Armenia is investigating how its products do not meet the current standards in the Russian Federation: "It is strange that only 35 cars are returned during the whole year, and then 35 cars in two days.”
He noted that the quality of the product has not changed during this period: "In order to clarify these issues, we are calling for an urgent meeting of the EU within 2 days.”
