Azerbaijan to auction State Border Service vessel among other assets

Azerbaijan’s State Service on Property Issues will hold a public auction on February 24, 2024, to sell government-owned vehicles, including a vessel belonging to the State Border Service, the agency said on Wednesday.

The auction, featuring 11 transport assets with a combined valuation of 287,500 manats ($169,117), will take place at the Property Services Space in Baku.

The centerpiece of the sale is a 1969 "Point Brower D" class vessel previously operated by the border guard. The starting price for the vessel has been set at 230,000 manats ($135,294).

Potential bidders must submit applications at least three bank days before the auction date. The service has offered interested parties the opportunity to inspect the assets prior to the sale.
