Latvian President pays tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev

President of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honors on April 22 to pay tribute to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his grave.

The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honored, and fresh flowers were placed at her grave.

The graves of prominent statesman and public figure Aziz Aliyev and talented doctor Tamerlan Aliyev were also visited, and flowers were laid at the graves.
