HAVELSAN delivers HvBS system to Azerbaijan’s Air Force

Turkish defence company HAVELSAN has delivered its HvBS air operations management system to the Azerbaijani Air Force.

According to the company, the system enables personnel at operations centres to work within a shared information environment, manage missions and operational data in real time, and centrally monitor critical information.

The introduction of HvBS is expected to improve the speed, accuracy and efficiency of planning, coordinating and conducting air operations.

HAVELSAN said HvBS was one of the world’s most comprehensive information systems for air forces. It can reduce operational preparation time to a matter of minutes, ensure secure information exchange between different levels of command and allow operations to be adjusted in real time as conditions change.

The value of the contract and the scope of the delivery were not disclosed.
