Aliyev Appoints New Ambassadors to Netherlands and Switzerland

President Ilham Aliyev has signed decrees appointing new ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Netherlands and Switzerland, state media reported.

Under the presidential orders, Anar K构kavus oglu Ajamov was named ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, while Vagif Ismayil oglu Sadigov was appointed ambassador to the Swiss Confederation.

Sadigov previously concluded his tenure as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg and head of the mission to the European Union following his recall last month.
