Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund buys property in Tokyo for $418 million

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) has purchased a commercial complex in the Japanese capital Tokyo, Nikkei reported.

The property was bought from Orix for more than 50 billion yen ($418 million), the report said.

The property in the city’s Ginza shopping area opened last October.
 
SOFAZ has yet to confirm the deal.
