The real reason why people post about their relationship on Facebook

The real reason why people post about their relationship on Facebook

This might not come as a huge surprise to even the less cynical among you, but people who write more posts about their relationship online are actually the ones that feel the most insecure.

A study, published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin journal, found that people who felt anxious about their partner were the most likely to want to remind people they were in a relationship - the same being said for people who were anxious in general. On a daily basis, when people felt more insecure about their partner’s feelings, they tended to make their relationships visible. These studies highlight the role of relationships in how people portray themselves to others.Science is yet to determine whether the same theory can be extrapolated to Facebook users who post pictures of their food, or whether they’ve completed the ice bucket challenge.(independent.co.uk)Bakudaily.Az
