Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is considering opening several new routes to China in the future, the carrier said in response to a Report inquiry.

The airline said it continuously analyses the development of its route network and assesses new opportunities across various destinations.

“Decisions on opening new flights are made after the necessary commercial and operational procedures are completed. Official information on specific destinations is announced only after a final decision is made,” AZAL said.

AZAL currently operates direct flights between Baku and Beijing three times a week.
