Azerbaijan’s cotton fibre exports down 18%

Azerbaijan shipped 42,709 tonnes of cotton fibre worth $62.37 million in January–April 2025, down 17.9% in volume and 20.7% in value year-on-year, the State Customs Committee said on Wednesday.

The average export price per kilogram fell to 2.49 manat from 2.57, a 3.5% drop. Cotton fibre accounted for 0.71% of overall exports and 5.84% of non-oil exports.
