Putin jokes about EU sanctions on toilets

Russian President Vladimir Putin mocked the European Union’s latest sanctions package, which bans the export of toilets, bidets and sinks to Russia, saying Europe “will need them itself” if it continues its current policy toward Moscow.

“It will cost them dearly. I think they will need those toilets themselves if they keep pursuing the same policy toward Russia,” Putin told reporters, referring to the EU’s 19th sanctions package.
