Leaked video shows Sarkozy mocked by inmates in French prison

A video circulated online shows former French President Nicolas Sarkozy being mocked by fellow inmates during his first night at La Santé prison in Paris, Daily Mail reported.

Sarkozy, jailed on corruption charges, was subjected to taunts over his height and insults shouted toward his cell. In the video, inmates are heard yelling “Show us your head!” and laughing as they call out “Sarko!” repeatedly.

Police officers reportedly intervened to restore order after tensions rose in a neighboring cell. The ex-president is said to be struggling to sleep due to constant noise from the prison courtyard outside his window.
