Trump says he can help reconcile Pakistan and Afghanistan

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is capable of resolving the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, speaking on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Malaysia, Associated Press reported on Sunday.

Trump said he had heard that Pakistan and Afghanistan had already begun working toward a peace agreement and expressed confidence that he could “resolve the issue very quickly.”
