Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s aircraft was unable to land in Moscow due to airspace restrictions and was redirected to an alternate airport, Armenian media reported. The plane reportedly circled over Tver region for about an hour awaiting permission to land.

It eventually landed at Pulkovo Airport late at night. Pashinyan was travelling to Moscow after a visit to Germany to attend a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Intergovernmental Council.

More than 170 flights were delayed at Moscow airports overnight following a Ukrainian drone attack.
