Azerbaijan may delay enforcement of e-cigarette ban

Azerbaijan’s parliament is considering postponing the date when a ban on electronic cigarettes comes into force.

Parliamentary committee chairman Azer Amiraslanov said the ban is proposed to take effect on April 1, 2026, instead of Feb. 1, 2026, taking into account appeals from business representatives and international practice.

The draft law has been submitted to parliament for a first reading.
