Expired ammunition to be destroyed in Pirekeshkul and Agdere

Azerbaijan will destroy expired and unusable ammunition in the Pirekeshkul area and Agdere district between December 22 and 26, the defence ministry said.

The ministry said the disposal would be carried out in line with safety regulations at a training range near Pirekeshkul and at a training centre in Agdere.

Residents were urged not to be alarmed by possible explosion sounds.
