Mary Trump suggests U.S. President may show signs of Alzheimer's
28.01.2026 14:00

Mary Lea Trump, niece of U.S. President Donald Trump and a clinical psychologist, has suggested that the president might be suffering from Alzheimer's disease, citing his facial expressions and occasional disorientation.

Speaking to New York Magazine, she compared his demeanor to that of his father, Fred Trump, who died from the disease at age 93.

The remarks come amid ongoing discussions about the president's health, including recent comments by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. regarding Trump's fast-food diet. However, President Trump has repeatedly dismissed such claims, pointing to "excellent" results from cognitive tests he underwent in early 2026 and April 2025.
