Khamenei says unrest in Iran was organised by the United States and Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said recent unrest in the country had been organised by the United States and Israel.

In a post on social media platform X, Khamenei said he had been informed that U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies were directly involved.

“I was told through a certain channel that the CIA and Mossad deployed all their resources on the ground. Nevertheless, they failed. The plan for the uprising was designed abroad and directed from outside the country,” he said.
