Azerbaijan police solve 77 crimes, detain 66 suspects on Feb. 5

Azerbaijani police reported that 68 new crimes and 9 from previous periods were solved across the country on February 5, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said.

A total of 138 people wanted by authorities were apprehended, including 100 individuals sought for debt-related cases, and handed over to relevant agencies.

Law enforcement also recorded 31 drug-related incidents and 28 cases involving illegal weapons and ammunition. In addition, 66 people suspected of committing crimes were detained.
