New protests have been reported in Iran, with opposition supporters holding rallies in Tehran and several other cities, as well as abroad.

According to Der Spiegel, on the evening of Feb. 15 residents in several districts of the Iranian capital chanted from balconies slogans including “Death to the Islamic Republic,” “Death to Khamenei,” and “Long live the Shah.”

The independent broadcaster Iran International, based outside Iran, published videos showing groups chanting “This is the final battle, Pahlavi is returning” and “Death to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.”

Reports of similar actions have emerged from several other Iranian cities. Iranian authorities have not yet commented on the developments.
