Iran to limit Hormuz Strait crossings to about 10 vessels per day, WSJ reports

Iran has told mediators it plans to limit the number of vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz to about 10 per day, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Tehran also intends to impose fees and require ships to coordinate transit with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the report said.

Iranian authorities have not officially commented on the report. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical artery for global oil supplies, and any restrictions could impact energy markets.
