Lithuania urges EU to deepen economic ties with Azerbaijan

Lithuania has called on the European Union to strengthen economic engagement with Azerbaijan and expand participation in projects aimed at enhancing regional connectivity, Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene said.

In an interview with APA, she said Lithuania supports initiatives to boost links in the South Caucasus, viewing them not only as infrastructure projects but also as tools to expand practical economic cooperation.

According to the prime minister, Azerbaijan is seen as a key partner playing an important role in connecting different regions.
