Rose imports from Netherlands recorded as Armenia in trade data — customs
Azerbaijan imported roses worth $960 from the Netherlands in March, according to customs data.
Under the rules for publishing foreign trade statistics, the country of origin is treated as the partner country in import records, the State Customs Committee said.
The committee said the goods may have been supplied from Armenia to the Netherlands and then re-exported to Azerbaijan.
As a result, the shipments were recorded in trade statistics as imports from Armenia.
