Nearly AZN 400 mln allocated to Karabakh and East Zangazur in Q1

In the first quarter of 2026, 386.2 million manats, or 11.0% of the annual allocated funds, were utilized for the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories based on cash order documents submitted by contracting organizations for relevant projects.

It was noted that 355.2 million manats of this amount were directed to infrastructure projects (185.0 million manats for the design, construction, and reconstruction of road infrastructure, 142.2 million manats for the design and construction of new residential complexes, and 28.0 million manats for the creation of tourism infrastructure and implementation of other measures), 10.7 million manats were allocated to the financing of healthcare and culture-oriented social projects, and 20.3 million manats were spent on mine clearance operations.
