Azerbaijan sends new groups of returnees to Khojavand, Gyrmyzy Bazar and Khanoba
Azerbaijan on Monday sent new groups of returnees to the town of Khojavand, the settlement of Gyrmyzy Bazar and the village of Khanoba as part of its programme to resettle residents in territories retaken by Baku.
At this stage, 39 families, or 176 people, were sent to Khojavand, 16 families, or 63 people, to Gyrmyzy Bazar, and 13 families, or 60 people, to Khanoba.
The authorities said the families had previously been living temporarily in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.
The resettlement programme is being carried out under instructions from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
