Azerbaijan’s inflation reaches 5.6% in January-April

Consumer prices in Azerbaijan rose by 5.6% year-on-year in January-April 2026, the State Statistics Committee said.

Prices for food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 6.7%, non-food goods by 3.7%, and paid services to the population by 5.7%.

In April, annual inflation stood at 5.5%, while monthly inflation was 0.3%.
