Magnitude 5.6 earthquake hits eastern Turkey

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Turkey’s eastern province of Malatya, the country’s disaster management agency AFAD said.

The tremor was also felt in Elazig, Adiyaman and Kahramanmaras provinces.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
