Rain and thunderstorms forecast for Azerbaijan on May 21

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Azerbaijan on May 21, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will see variable cloudiness, with mostly dry weather. Brief light rain is possible in some areas during the day, while fog is expected in places at night and in the morning.

Temperatures in Baku and Absheron will be 15-18°C at night and 22-27°C during the day.

In the regions, intermittent rain is expected from the morning, starting in western areas. Rain may be heavy in some places, with thunderstorms and hail possible. Snow is forecast in high mountainous areas.

Rainfall is expected to intensify in some areas in the evening.

Temperatures will be 14-17°C at night and 22-27°C during the day in the regions, and 5-10°C at night and 15-20°C during the day in the mountains, reaching 23°C in some places.
