Azerbaijan prepares Family Concept document

The Family Concept has been prepared, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova said during the discussion of the “Information on the activities of the executive authority exercising control over ensuring gender equality in 2025” at today’s plenary session of the Milli Majlis.

She stated that the document has already been prepared and sent to relevant state bodies: “They are also submitting their proposals. This document should become a political framework document defining Azerbaijan’s approach and future tasks in the modern era. Later, action plans related to the implementation of the document will also be adopted and implemented. The second document is the second action plan on the Child Strategy covering the years 2026–2030. Work is currently underway to finalize that document as well. Its implementation will also seriously affect these issues.
