Tomorrow’s temperature in Azerbaijan to reach 31C, hail possible in some areas

Air temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to rise to 31 degrees Celsius on Thursday, while thunderstorms and hail are forecast in some mountainous and foothill regions, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, weather is expected to be partly cloudy and mainly dry. Northwesterly winds will shift to southeasterly winds during the day.

Temperatures in the capital will range from 12-16C at night to 22-27C during the day.

Atmospheric pressure will be 762 mm Hg, while relative humidity is expected to be 65-75% at night and 50-55% during daytime hours.

Across the regions, weather will remain mostly dry, although intermittent rain is expected in some mountainous and foothill areas during the day.

Heavy showers, thunderstorms and hail are possible in isolated locations. Fog may occur in some areas overnight and in the morning, while easterly winds are expected to strengthen locally.

Temperatures in the regions will range from 14-18C at night and 26-31C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures are forecast at 7-12C overnight and 15-20C during the day, rising to 24-26C in some locations.
