Temperatures in Azerbaijan to reach 32C on Friday

Air temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 32 degrees Celsius on Friday, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, weather is forecast to be partly cloudy with occasional overcast conditions and mainly dry. Fog is expected in some areas overnight. Northeasterly winds will shift to southeasterly winds during the day.

Temperatures in the capital are expected to range from 15-18C at night to 24-29C during daytime hours.

Atmospheric pressure will be 762 mm Hg, while relative humidity is forecast at 60-65% overnight and 45-50% during the day.

Most regions of the country are expected to remain dry, although intermittent rain is possible in some mountainous and foothill areas. Thunderstorms, heavy showers and hail are possible in isolated locations. Fog may also form overnight and in the early morning.

Temperatures in the regions are forecast at 15-19C at night and 27-32C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 7-12C overnight to 15-19C during the day, rising to 21-25C in some locations.
