Armenia’s CEC confirms Pashinyan’s party wins election

Armenia’s Central Election Commission has completed the counting of all ballots.

According to the final results, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won 49.81% of the vote, securing first place in the parliamentary election.

The Strong Armenia bloc, led by businessman Samvel Karapetyan, came second with 23.29%, while the Armenia Alliance headed by former President Robert Kocharyan finished third with 9.94% of the vote.
