Earthquake hits Caspian Sea

A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan’s Republican Seismological Service Center said. 

The tremor was recorded at 08:55 local time and its hypocentre was located at a depth of 18 kilometres, according to the centre.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
