Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude nears $100 per barrel
11.06.2026 11:00

The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude has approached the $100-a-barrel mark amid rising global energy prices.

According to market data, Azeri Light traded at $100.09 per barrel on a CIF basis at Italy’s Augusta port, while the price at Turkey’s Ceyhan terminal stood at $97.67 per barrel on an FOB basis.

The increase comes as tensions in the Middle East fuel concerns over potential disruptions to global oil supplies.

The price of Azerbaijan’s flagship export crude remains well above the $65 per barrel benchmark used in the country’s 2026 state budget projections.

Azeri Light is Azerbaijan’s main export crude grade and is produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil fields in the Caspian Sea.
