Brent and WTI fall
Global oil prices moved lower, with both Brent crude and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) trading in negative territory.
Brent crude futures fell to around $83 a barrel on the ICE exchange in London, while WTI traded near $80 per barrel. Analysts attributed the decline to easing concerns over potential supply disruptions in the Middle East and growing expectations of lower geopolitical risks.
