Brent and WTI decline on global markets
Global oil prices moved lower in trading on international commodity exchanges.
The price of Brent crude for August delivery fell by 0.42% to $84.09 per barrel on the ICE exchange in London. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for July delivery declined by 0.52% to $81.15 per barrel on the NYMEX exchange in New York.
Oil prices remained under pressure amid expectations of easing geopolitical risks and the prospect of improved global oil supplies following signs of progress in U.S.-Iran negotiations, analysts said.
