Azerbaijan gasoline output rises 7.9% in January-May

Azerbaijan produced 591,400 tonnes of motor gasoline in January-May 2026, up 7.9% from the same period last year, according to official statistics.

Diesel fuel output was unchanged year-on-year at 937,900 tonnes, while kerosene production fell by 18.7% to 217,000 tonnes.

Fuel oil output dropped by 45.2% to 31,000 tonnes, and liquefied gas production declined by 14.3% to 79,400 tonnes.

Lubricating oil production rose by 16% to 17,400 tonnes, while petroleum coke output increased by 14.9% to 97,300 tonnes.

Production of petroleum bitumen fell by 41.4% to 51,300 tonnes.

As of June 1, industrial enterprises held stocks of 51,000 tonnes of gasoline, 123,600 tonnes of diesel fuel, 28,700 tonnes of kerosene, 19,900 tonnes of bitumen and 41,000 tonnes of petroleum coke.
