Azerbaijan building materials output rises 5.9% in January-May

Production of building materials in Azerbaijan increased by 5.9% year-on-year to 568.4 million manats in January-May 2026, according to the State Statistics Committee.

During the period, lime production surged by 65.9%, while output of prefabricated concrete construction structures rose by 38.4%.

Output in the metallurgy and fabricated metal products sectors totalled 668.2 million manats during the first five months of the year.

Metallurgical production increased by 8.3% compared with the same period of 2025, while production of fabricated metal products fell by 23.6%.

Rebar production rose by 16.4% and aluminium products output increased by 26.4%, while production of other fabricated metal products declined by 68%.
