Yelo Bank hosts graduation day for young women's mentorship program

Supported by Yelo Bank, the latest graduation ceremony of the "Violette Mentorship" program, which empowers young women and expands their career opportunities, has taken place. Hosted by the Bank, this year's graduation event was marked by engaging discussions and ambitious goals, highlighting access to development resources for young women aged 15 to 25.

Speaking at the event, Gunay Jalilova, Deputy CEO at Yelo Bank, emphasized the importance of increasing the representation of women in leadership positions. She noted that while the balance of female executives in certain sectors, particularly in finance, remains low, this situation is shifting positively year by year. Highlighting the crucial role of mentorship in sustaining this positive trend, Ms. Jalilova pointed out the necessity for every graduate to become a mentor in the future, thereby building a powerful "chain of support" for women's advancement.

During the panel discussion titled "From Mentees to Leaders: Women Writing Their Own Stories," successful female professionals shared their career paths, challenges, and leadership experiences with the participants. Following the panel, a 1-hour networking session provided an excellent opportunity for mentors and mentees to connect closely and foster strong professional ties among project participants. At the end of the event, certificates were ceremonially presented to 33 graduates who successfully completed this year's program.
