Presidential aide says new state programme will take agriculture to a new level
A new state programme for agricultural development in 2026–2030 will help move Azerbaijan’s agricultural sector to a qualitatively new level, Presidential Aide and Head of the Territorial and Organizational Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Zeynal Nagdaliyev, said.
According to him, the programme will serve as a strategic roadmap for increasing production, improving resource efficiency, expanding processing capacity and export potential, as well as developing fisheries and aquaculture. The key objective is to shift from an extensive model of development to an intensive one focused on higher productivity and better-quality output.
The programme also aims to strengthen food security, develop agricultural value chains and expand farmers’ access to modern agricultural services.
