Twelve people drown in Azerbaijan since start of June

Twelve people have drowned in Azerbaijan since the beginning of June, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The ministry urged citizens to follow water safety rules, use only officially designated beaches and avoid leaving children unattended near water.

It also called on the public to take weather conditions into account and refrain from swimming in unequipped areas where no rescue services are available. (Vesti.az⁠)
