Rain and thunderstorms forecast in Azerbaijan

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Azerbaijan on Wednesday, with heavy showers and hail forecast in some areas, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

In Baku and on the Absheron peninsula, partly cloudy weather is expected, with occasional rain and thunderstorms. Northwesterly winds are expected to strengthen at times.

In the regions, rain and thunderstorms are forecast in some areas, with heavy showers and hail possible in isolated locations. Fog is expected in mountainous areas.

Temperatures in Baku are forecast at 20-24 degrees Celsius at night and 28-32 degrees during the day, while temperatures in the regions may reach 34 degrees.
