Rain, thunderstorms and hail forecast in Azerbaijan

Weather in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula on June 26 is expected to be partly cloudy and mostly dry, although rain is forecast in some areas during the day, with short periods of heavier showers and thunderstorms possible in parts of the peninsula.

The National Hydrometeorological Service said northwesterly winds would blow, with temperatures ranging from 19-23 degrees Celsius at night to 26-31 degrees during the day.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in some places, with heavy showers, thunderstorms and hail possible in isolated areas.

Fog is forecast in some mountainous areas at night and in the morning, while westerly winds may strengthen at times in some locations.

Temperatures in the regions are expected to range from 19-22 degrees Celsius at night to 28-33 degrees during the day, while in the mountains they will range from 9-14 degrees at night to 17-22 degrees during the day, rising to 24-26 degrees in some places.
