Azerbaijan sets wheat procurement price for 2026

Azerbaijan’s cabinet has approved the procurement price for food wheat for 2026.

The price will be used within the framework of state support mechanisms for grain producers and wheat procurement operations.

The government expects the measure to support farmers’ incomes, encourage grain production and strengthen the country’s food security.

Azerbaijan has been seeking to increase domestic wheat production and reduce its dependence on imports in recent years.
