IATA says over half of Azerbaijan’s air routes changed in decade
More than half of Azerbaijan’s air routes have changed over the past decade, according to a study by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The association said that 54% of the country’s route network in 2025 differed from that of 2015.
IATA said Azerbaijan had 95 scheduled routes in 2025, while the number of airlines operating in the market rose to 39 from 24 a decade earlier.
The organization said growing connectivity and transit traffic had strengthened Azerbaijan’s position as an air transport link between Europe and Asia. (IATA)
