Azerbaijan clears 1.8 bln manat of receivables from previous years

Azerbaijan cleared 1.8 billion manat worth of receivables carried over from previous years in 2025, Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said.

Speaking in parliament during discussions on the execution of the 2025 state budget, Babayev said the settlement of outstanding receivables contributed to stronger fiscal discipline and more efficient public financial management.

The government continues efforts to improve budget management and enhance transparency in public finances.
