NYMEX natural gas futures decline
Natural gas futures prices fell on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).
The August natural gas contract declined to around $3.25 per million British thermal units (mmBtu).
The decline came amid expectations of ample supply and continued volatility in energy markets. At the same time, strong liquefied natural gas demand and high electricity consumption continued to provide support to prices.
Investors remain focused on weather forecasts and global gas market developments, which continue to influence price movements.
