Azerbaijani oil sells above $75 a barrel

The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude rose to $75.6 per barrel on global markets.

The benchmark grade gained $1.24, or 1.7%, from the previous trading session. 

The price remains above the $65 per barrel average assumed in Azerbaijan’s 2026 state budget. 

Azeri Light is Azerbaijan’s main export crude grade and is produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli offshore fields in the Caspian Sea.
