Oil volume transported via BTC disclosed

The total volume of oil transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline since its launch has been disclosed.

The BTC pipeline is mainly used to transport oil from Azerbaijan’s Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields and condensate from the Shah Deniz field. It also carries other crude oil and condensate volumes from the Caspian region.

BTC is one of Azerbaijan’s key export routes, carrying crude oil to global markets via Turkey’s Ceyhan port.
